2021

This existing single family home is undergoing a deep historic preservation with no detail overlooked.  Restoration of original windows and interior trim bring this 19th century home into the present.  Highly energy efficient upgrades, a new swimming pool and newly enclosed conservatory are only a few of the improvements underway now.

2021

KBA consulted on Interior Architecture for this full gut rehab single family home.  Custom built ins, Gourmet Kitchen, Stair detailing, Bathroom fixture and finish selection and interior trim all came together in this newly renovated home.

Estimated Finish 2022

Working with the local historic district, this Harvard Square Greek Revival will be updated and restored with period detailing.  A new construction carraige house style single family unit is planned for the rear.

2018

In a striking mix of new and old architecture, this existing property originally consisted of 2 badly neglected single family homes and a large open lot. Through careful planning, the existing homes underwent a sensitive historic restoration and 3 modern townhouse style units were constructed over a large underground parking structure to preserve as much open space as possible for the residents.

historic splendor.

This rambling storage building sat in the heart of Union Square for decades unnoticed & underutilized. A full re-imagining of the space has converted it into over 30 small scale independently owned business focused around 2 central courtyard spaces.

Celebrating both the interior and exterior of the building, Bow Market creates a fully unique gathering space for all kinds of artists, crafts people and residents providing Somerville with a much needed social & creative hub
